Exciting news!! We successfully did the Kubernetes Community Days Mumbai, Faced numerous challenges, and spent a lot of sleepless nights - But together we did it. 💪
It started with a random DM to Saiyam Pathak, Where I mentioned “Let’s do KCD Mumbai, We should do something to grow the CNCF community and educate the cloud native enthusiasts with exceptional speakers, People are excited here.” And he said - Yes, Let’s do it. Definitely! It was not easy like saying “Let’s do it” 🥹 There was recession fear and no companies were interested to sponsor the first-ever happening “KCD Mumbai” We are not Tech Hub in India like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Pune.
We tried our very best to travel to conferences, visit booths, and ask for sponsorships. We received limited sponsorships but there were other multiple issues - It will require a series of blogs to post everything - I’ve linked PART 1 of Divya Mohan’s blog series - she will take you through this journey. Do check it out.
I’m really thankful to have the very exceptional organizers, without them it was impossible. 🤠
Rather than KCD, There were other challenges and downsides in my life this time that took me so long to share this issue. I’m looking for a job change - you must’ve seen my post already Looking for some new challenges to solve now.
